26, 27, 28 & 29 April 2025 shows

Touring isn’t just about playing shows—it’s about the long drives, the people we meet, the late nights, and the moments that remind us why we do this. This past weekend, The Movement hit the road again for four intense nights in Germany, and what a ride it was. Here’s a look back at the madness.

26/03 – Stattbahnhof, Schweinfurt – Kicking Things Off

The alarm clocks were brutal on Wednesday morning—6 AM departure from Copenhagen, gear packed, coffee barely doing its job. The first stop was Schweinfurt, where the band would play at Stattbahnhof, a legendary venue that always delivers. After a long drive, we arrived, stretched our legs, and got straight to work. Daniel, his family, and the crew, we felt right at home in this welcoming atmosphere.

The show started with Jack Torrence‘s concert and then night was everything we could’ve asked for—the energy in the room, the passion of the crowd, and that feeling when a tour finally kicks off properly. From the first note, it was clear that Schweinfurt was ready. People were singing, dancing, and sweating with us. A perfect start.

27/03 – Whiskey Blues Pub, Bad Wörishofen – A Wild Night in Bavaria

Day two brought us to Bad Wörishofen, a town that might sound quiet, but the show at Whiskey Blues Pub proved otherwise. The venue was packed, and the atmosphere was pure fire. No barriers, no distance between the band and the audience—just raw energy in a tight space.
Nights like this are what make smaller venues so special, and Gar Krass opened the sweaty evening.

There’s nowhere to hide, no separation, just people coming together for the music. By the end of the set, the place was dripping with sweat, voices were hoarse from shouting along, and everyone left with that buzz that only a proper rock ‘n’ roll night can give, thanks in large part to how well Stephan and his crew at the pub treated us, making us feel like part of the family.

28/03 – Alte Brauerei, Annaberg-Buchholz – A Punk Rock Party

Friday night took us east to Alte Brauerei in Annaberg-Buchholz, where we played alongside Sick Times and The Sensitives from Sweden. When you see a lineup like that, you know it’s going to be a proper punk rock party.
And it was.

The crowd was wild from the first chord, and the energy never let up. Sick Times tore the place up, and The Sensitives brought their unstoppable punk energy to set the stage perfectly. By the time The Movement hit, the place was alive. Shows like this remind us why we keep coming back—a room full of people giving everything they’ve got, and the band throwing it right back at them.

29/03 – KUFA, Bamberg – Ending on a High Note

For the last show of the run, we landed in Bamberg, where our old friend Frank had organized a killer night at Kufa.

Before the show, we stopped by the biggest music store in Europe, not far from Bamberg. We’re not really into all the flashy gear or the consumerism around it, but it was fun to check out all the instruments. In the end, we’re happiest just playing with our simple setup.

Sharing the stage with Johnny Reggae Rub Foundation, the night took on a ska-punk edge, and the crowd was loving every second of it.

By this point in the tour, the exhaustion was real, but as soon as the first notes hit, adrenaline took over. The Movement played like it was the last gig of their lives, and the crowd responded in kind. Bamberg never disappoints, and this night was proof of that.

30/03 – The Long Road Home

After very little sleep, we were back in the van at 6 AM on Sunday, heading north. The return trip was a brutal 11-hour drive back to Copenhagen, but the exhaustion was mixed with that post-tour satisfaction—tired but happy.

Four nights, four amazing shows, and a reminder of why we do this. Huge thanks to everyone who came out, to the venues, to the organizers, and to the incredible bands we shared the stage with.

More shows are coming. More miles on the road. See you out there.
